Narrative Report

(Thesis experience)

Before of our survival in thesis, I would like to say that this subject is like a bone in the troth. I n the third week of month of June I and my group mate prepared a three title for our proposed title for our thesis but in finding this three titles are one of the very worst for us. After deciding of the titles we make each of a chapter I,II,III after that we are conducted an  interview for our three titles before the defend of our propose titles.

Grading System of Capiz State University Dayao Satellite College is the title chooses among the three titles. After of the approval of the proposed title my group starts their duties in order to finish it.

The day of our first defend, we are all panicking because we are not already finished our documents but despite of that we must have a double time in order to finish our document before our first defend. I and my group are contributing of money for printing of document and snacks for the panels.

 Time of first defend and I had felt very nervous at that time because we don’t know their question to us it is because slightly prepared ourselves for those questions. After of first defend we felt a free prisoner from the jail.

After of the first defend, I started to plan on how to develop our system. In planning step I got already confuse on how to sequentially step by step the process in developing of our system. In first step I created a database for the storing of data where including of students, registrar, faculties and the subjects. But in this steps I was so many error in building of database, and so! Through many error there are also many repeating of creating database besides it is very hard for me because the database I use in our program is MySQL php/Myadmin even though I’m not already familiar in the XAMPP I try to learn this tools it is because for the development needed of our system.

In developing our system, I started to create our system I’ve been searched and searched and searched that was related to the system so that I begin to create the system and this is very worst for me because how many times again to rebuild the system, analyzing, operation and the concept of the system is being unorganized for me.

In this subject I started to sleep in 12 am in the morning every day so noong dati mataba ako at ngayo’y payat na it is because of that responsibility..Zzz! but it is important so that I’ll be doing my responsibilities as a programmer and being leader in our thesis.

Almost two months that I am creating of the system but it’s useless because these are so many kulang according to our adviser Mr. John Camacho and he rearrange our database and the operation happened inside of the system.

As what I said I started again and apply of what our adviser said. After that, the day of pilot testing to the computer department instructors and I’m getting nervous again. Everyone them are so many suggestion in our system and also we note their suggestion to help it to improve our system. After pilot testing and reconstructing the system we are also preparing for the final testing with 12 respondents and divided it into two, the nine respondents are the instructors and registrar and the three respondents are the I.T experts.

Day of final testing in the three I.T experts I was getting nervous again because the pressure is on me. So! The I.T suggestions are noted by my group and thanks God we are successfully finished for the final test in I.T. after final testing we are preparing for the final oral defend and everyone did their part to finish the document.

We are 4^th group in thesis besides we are the first group to the defend because the first, second, and third are not already yet and we are also not ready but alang-alang in our classmates I decide to be the first presenter in order to save other group.

So as the result of our final defend it is very mmm…hehehe it’s ok better last next time. The important is we do our best in thesis subject. That’s all thank you!!!
